18th European Colorectal Congress of St.Gallen

More than 50 scientific lectures from the best international speakers will cover most of the hot topics in colorectal surgery. Expect the best in professional education and practical knowledge for every clinical need.

The main congress will focus on lectures from the topshots in colorectal surgery on colon cancer, rectal cancer and anal cancer. New formats will also be offered such as as pros & cons, discussion rounds & meet the experts! Furthermore there will be honorary lectures from world famous colorectal surgeons. Highlight as always will be the live surgery session on Wednesday, 4 December. Colorectal surgeries will be broadcast directly from the operating theatre of the Kantonsspital St.Gallen. Additional video talks will be included. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about the procedures and discuss with the surgeons. Following the success of last year’s event, a hybrid platform will once again be offered, that seamlessly brings together onsite and online attendees, allowing for even more interaction between participants. The European Colorectal Congress was always meant to bring together experts and participants from all over the world for high level exchange of knowledge and transfer of new techniques and results.
