Assembly of Delegates of Loipen Schweiz (Cross-Country Skiing Switzerland)

Loipen Schweiz held this year’s assembly of delegates in the Pfalzkeller. We really appreciated that the venue was in the centre of the old town. Dinner at the Scheitlinsbüchel restaurant was also a great experience. The St.Gallen Convention Bureau actively supported us with organising the hotel accommodation and the great goodie bags. The two exciting guided tours that St.Gallen-Bodensee Tourism organised for us were also brilliant. We highly recommend the St.Gallen Convention Bureau and the city of St.Gallen.
Opening of the Gallus Experience Center

LawWithoutWalls Sprint 2023

The LawWithoutWalls (LWOW) Sprint is an experimental legal innovation experience bringing together aspiring and practising lawyers from around the world. In 2023, the LWOW Sprint was held in St.Gallen and was organised by the University of St.Gallen Executive School of Technology, Management and Law. The success of LWOW 2023 was partly down to the excellent job SGCB did organising the accommodation. Having the accommodation sorted allowed our team to focus on the logistics of the event. Annual General Meeting of the Swiss Society of Clinical Chemistry

The theme of the annual general meeting of the Swiss Society of Clinical Chemistry was «Bridging the Gap between Analytics and Clinic». It took a year to prepare for the three-day conference at Olma Messen St.Gallen which included a gala dinner at netts and discussions on digitalisation, which is increasingly finding its way into laboratory medicine. As a company with local roots, it makes sense for us to work with partners in the city of St.Gallen. The St.Gallen Convention Bureau provided us with straightforward, professional support in organising accommodation for the conference attendees.
«100 years of the Hälg Group» – anniversary celebration

On 9 September 2022, the Hälg Group celebrated «100 years of the Hälg Group» with its current and retired employees in St.Gallen, where the company was founded 100 years ago. We needed to organise overnight accommodation on site for guests who had a long way to travel. We were grateful to be able to rely on the expertise of the professionals at the St.Gallen Convention Bureau to organise the hotel accommodation for us – thank you very much!
The St.Gallen Symposium social programme

After a year of preparations for the 51st St.Gallen Symposium, we wanted to give special thanks to our biggest supporters, the parents of the members of the 51st International Student Committee (ISC). In May 2022, we organised various city tours via the St.Gallen Convention Bureau as part of the St.Gallen Symposium parents’ programme. We greatly value our long-standing partnership with the St.Gallen Convention Bureau. They provide us with amazing support, which we, as a student initiative, greatly appreciate.
Model WTO conference

The Model WTO conference welcomes more than 70 students from all over the world to St.Gallen every year. As Head of Event, I was lucky to have the St.Gallen Convention Bureau’s team of experts on hand to answer my questions. Their quick responses were much appreciated and provided me with valuable input. Their expertise ultimately helped make the multi-day conference on the 25th anniversary of the Model WTO a great success. Our participants were thoroughly impressed with all that St.Gallen had to offer. I will definitely be recommending this great service to the future organising committee.
The START Summit

International Conference on the Internet of Things

Shareholders’ meeting

For the first time in a long time, we were able to hold our shareholders’ meeting as an in-person event, with participants from four countries. This was made possible thanks to the safety and hygiene measures put in place and the excellent preparation at the Stadthaus in St.Gallen. The Convention Bureau St.Gallen team provided us with excellent and professional support. Their staff are very friendly and all our participants felt comfortable at the event. We would like to thank you for the warm hospitality you showed us in St.Gallen!
Annual general meeting

The 88th annual general meeting of the Swiss Tourism Federation was held in the St.Gallen Stadthaus at the end of August 2020. We were able to hold our annual general meeting in person under the prevailing hygiene and social-distancing rules at the time – something we appreciated more than ever before. Despite the turbulent times, the convention team gave us great support. The overnight stay at the Hotel Einstein, the dinner at the Gasthof Schlössli and the event itself were all a success. Thank you very much for your valuable help and seamless organisation!

Every year, as part of our «Best Practice in Marketing» excellence programme, we hold several events in beautiful St.Gallen and other wonderful locations in Eastern Switzerland. Delegates’ assembly of the Swiss Red Cross

In 2019, as part of the organisation of the delegates’ assembly of the Swiss Red Cross, which takes place every year in a different canton, I, together with the Red Cross of the Canton of St.Gallen, contacted the St.Gallen Convention Bureau to assess suitable venues to hold this meeting, as well as accommodation for participants. Working with the St.Gallen Convention Bureau was a pleasure. The one-to-one support provided was highly beneficial and remained excellent even when things got busy. I would like to thank them for their excellent support and I would be happy to work with them again in the future.
Annual general meeting

For our annual general meeting, we offer our shareholders a new and exciting location in a different region of Switzerland every year. St.Gallen’s famous Abbey District drew us to the city and we found exactly what we were looking for with the wonderful support provided by the St.Gallen Convention Bureau. Our meeting was held in the cosy setting of the Forum & Pfalzkeller, followed by delicious food at Hotel Einstein. We were thrilled!
