Events such as OLMA and Tier&Technik showcase the region at the national level and emphasise its importance in the sector. This national standing is complemented by a strong network of companies, as well as educational and competence centres, such as the CUBIC Innovation Campus - Bühler, Swiss Future Farm, GVS Agrar and the Kompetenznetzwerk Ernährungswirtschaft (Competence Network for the Food Industry).
